My Halloween costume this year!
My friends and I talked about making costumes based off the Twisted Princess illustrations for Halloween. Sadly that didn't happen but I looked through my fabric stash and found everything I needed to make an Alice costume anyway. The only things I had to buy was trim for the shoes, cream colored knee highs and a bridal applique off Ebay for the apron. About $10 total. I used Simplicity 2325 with no alterations, just a warning, it's a strange pattern. 3/10 would not recommend. The pattern is easy enough but the design is not well thought out - a seam runs right down the front, WTF.
The best part was being ruffly and cute. I felt like a cupcake!
